GTA 6 price UK: what the PlayStation and Xbox stores list today

GTA VI costs 69.99 pounds for the Standard Edition and 89.99 pounds for the Ultimate Edition on the UK PlayStation Store and the UK Xbox Store. Both pages were read on October 21, 2026. The Xbox UK page also lists an Ultimate Edition Upgrade add-on at 20.00 pounds, which lifts a Standard pre-order to Ultimate for the same total.

The rest of this page covers what each edition includes, what the game costs in other regions, and what the UK pages say about the age rating. Every number comes from a first-party store page read on the date printed next to it.

How much is GTA 6 in the UK on PS5 and Xbox?

Both UK stores show the same two headline prices.

  • PlayStation Store UK (read October 21, 2026): Standard Edition 69.99 pounds, Ultimate Edition 89.99 pounds. The standalone Ultimate Edition Upgrade is listed for PS5 as a pre-order marked Unavailable, with no price.
  • Xbox Store UK (read October 21, 2026): Standard Edition 69.99 pounds, Ultimate Edition 89.99 pounds, Ultimate Edition Upgrade 20.00 pounds. The Xbox page prints a plus sign after the two edition prices.

Store prices can change. Sony and Microsoft both edit product pages without notice. Re-read the store page before you buy.

What the Standard and Ultimate editions include

The two editions share the same base game and the same pre-order bonuses. The Ultimate Edition adds the content sold separately as the Ultimate Edition Upgrade. The detailed breakdown is on our Standard vs Ultimate Edition comparison.

Both editions, per the PlayStation UK page:

  • 7-Day Pre-load, so the download can start a week before November 19, 2026.
  • Vintage Vice City Pack with a digital pre-order.
  • One month of GTA+ with a digital pre-order. The PlayStation FAQ says the month must be claimed by March 31, 2027, and the digital purchase must be made before November 20, 2026.

The Xbox UK page lists the same Vintage Vice City Pack and one month of GTA+ for anyone who buys "prior to 19 November 2026 23:59:59". On Xbox the GTA+ month "must be redeemed within 180 days after placing your pre-order", one redemption per platform account, and child accounts with age-restriction settings cannot redeem it.

GTA+ is a subscription. The PlayStation US page marks the bonus month as "Auto-renews". If you want the free month without a second charge later, read whether you need PS Plus or GTA+ for GTA 6, which notes where the PlayStation page says to cancel the renewal, rather than guessing from the store page.

Physical UK copies are a separate matter. Rockstar said in June 2026 that boxed copies hold a download code and no disc. Our GTA 6 physical edition report has the details.

GTA 6 price by region: PlayStation Store listings

The figures below are the Standard and Ultimate prices shown on each regional PlayStation page, all read on October 21, 2026, in the currency the page uses. We have not converted anything into pounds, and we are not ranking countries. Exchange rates move daily and local tax rules differ, so a "cheapest country" list would mislead.

The Xbox US store, read the same day, matches the PlayStation US figures at 79.99 USD Standard, 99.99 USD Ultimate and a 20.00 USD Ultimate Edition Upgrade. Microsoft's UK add-on at 20.00 pounds follows the same pattern: the upgrade is the gap between the two editions.

The price the UK stores show today is the one to trust, not a forecast. Pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026 at 79.99 and 99.99 USD in the United States, and the US pages still show those figures. Rockstar has published nothing about a price rise, and no established outlet has reported one, so this article does not speculate on one.

What the UK store pages say about the age rating

Both UK listings carry a PEGI 18 badge. The PlayStation UK page lists the descriptors "Drugs, In-Game Purchases, Sexual Content, Violence". The Xbox UK page lists "Drugs, Sex, Violence" and separately notes that the game offers in-app purchases. The PlayStation UK FAQ still says the age ratings are unconfirmed, so treat the badge as the store's current label rather than a final record.

The rating is not yet on PEGI's own site. A search of pegi.info for "grand theft auto VI" returned zero results on October 21, 2026. A detailed listing appeared there around October 2 and was gone the next day, as VGC and Forbes reported at the time. Storefront badges are what the platforms display; the published PEGI record is what pegi.info shows, and those two do not match yet. For UK buyers the practical effect is small. A PEGI 18 badge means the store treats the game as adult content, so a child account with restrictions on age-restricted content cannot redeem the GTA+ bonus, as the Xbox page states.

Can you cancel a GTA 6 pre-order in the UK?

Read the current terms on the store itself before relying on them, because the rules sit in the platform's refund policy, not in anything Rockstar publishes.

When does GTA 6 come out in the UK?

November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar set that date in a Newswire post on November 6, 2025, and both UK store pages show it. Pre-load opens seven days earlier, on November 12, 2026. No PC version is announced. Our GTA 6 release date page tracks any change.
