Is there an official GTA 6 PS5 bundle?
No. As of October 8, 2026, Sony and Rockstar Games have not announced an official GTA 6 PS5 bundle. We checked the PlayStation Blog, the PlayStation Direct console page and the official PlayStation product page for Grand Theft Auto VI, and none of them lists a console packaged with the game.
The game itself is fixed. Rockstar's Newswire set the launch for November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. That date has not moved since the November 2025 announcement, and no PC version has ever been announced.
What the PlayStation Blog has said about GTA VI
A search of the PlayStation Blog for Grand Theft Auto VI returns a short list. The relevant posts are these:
- June 24, 2026: "Grand Theft Auto VI plays best on PS5 November 19", the pre-order post.
- September 3, 2026: the first look at the Grand Theft Auto VI Limited-Edition DualSense Wireless Controllers.
- July 14, 2026: a roundup of PS5 games still due in 2026.
The June post covers pre-orders, the Vintage Vice City Pack and the PS5 features Sony wants to sell the game on, such as haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and 3D audio. On hardware, it points readers to buy a PS5 or PS5 Pro from direct.playstation.com or local retailers. It does not mention a bundle. The PlayStation Direct console page we read today lists PS5 Pro, disc and digital PS5 models and certified refurbished units. There is no Grand Theft Auto VI pack among them.
What GTA VI hardware Sony has actually announced
The only GTA VI-themed PlayStation hardware is the pair of limited-edition DualSense controllers Sony showed on September 3, 2026. We cover their designs, price and dates in our GTA VI DualSense controller report, so we will not repeat them here. They are controllers sold on their own, not a console pack.
The other official hardware link is a label. The PlayStation US product page for Grand Theft Auto VI, read today, marks the game "PS5 Pro Enhanced" and says it releases for PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro on November 19, 2026. Sony has not published what that enhancement does in practice. The same page lists two editions, Standard at 79.99 USD and Ultimate at 99.99 USD, and states the game is not playable on PS4.
Retailer bundles are not Sony bundles
Some shops have built their own packs. TechRadar reported on June 26, 2026 that UK retailer EE was selling a PS5 Slim with a copy of GTA 6 for 589.99 GBP, and a PS5 Pro with the game for 808 GBP. Those are store offers put together by a retailer. They are not an official Sony bundle, and prices at retailers change.
The same pattern shows up on Xbox, covered below. If you buy one of these packs, check what form the game takes. Rockstar said on June 24, 2026 that physical copies of GTA VI hold a download code rather than a disc. Our GTA 6 pre-order and pre-load dates page has the timings for boxed copies and pre-load.
What the leaks claimed about a GTA 6 PS5 Pro bundle
Treat this section as unconfirmed. PlayStation LifeStyle reported on October 2, 2025 that the leaker billbil-kun, posting on Dealabs, had detailed PS5 Pro and PS5 Slim bundles with EA Sports FC 26 for Europe. In the same report, billbil-kun reckoned that a GTA 6 PS5 Pro bundle was "highly likely" when the game launched, which at that point was planned for May 2026.
That was a prediction, not a leaked product listing. The game has since moved to November 19, 2026, and a year later Sony still has not announced the pack. Other bundle listings have circulated on smaller sites. We found no established outlet confirming any of them with an official source, so we leave them out.
How Sony handled GTA V console bundles
The last numbered Grand Theft Auto had official PlayStation bundles on two console generations. This is GTA V history, and it tells you nothing certain about GTA VI.
On June 11, 2013, Sony's European PlayStation Blog announced a PS3 bundle with a 500GB PlayStation 3 and a Blu-ray copy of GTA V, released alongside the game on September 17, 2013. A themed Pulse headset was offered separately, not inside the box.
For the PS4 version of GTA V, PlayStation LifeStyle reported on November 14, 2014 that Sony had confirmed a Black Friday pack in North America: a 500GB PS4, a physical copy of GTA V and a download voucher for The Last of Us Remastered, at 399 USD in the US and 449 USD in Canada. Both of those were announced by Sony itself, through its own channels.
Is there a GTA 6 Xbox Series X bundle?
Not from Microsoft. A search of Xbox Wire for Grand Theft Auto VI today returned pre-order and trailer posts and no console bundle. German site TV Movie reported on July 7, 2026 that Amazon in Germany was selling Xbox Series S and Series X packs with the game. Those are retail offers from Amazon, not a bundle Microsoft has announced. If you are weighing the cheaper Xbox, our GTA 6 on Xbox Series S guide covers what is and is not known.
Will a GTA VI bundle change anything about cheats?
No. A console pack would contain the same game. Rockstar has published nothing about cheats in GTA VI, and VI Cheats has verified no GTA VI code. Our GTA 6 cheats status page tracks what is confirmed and gets updated if Rockstar says anything.
Is there a GTA 6 PS5 Pro bundle?
Not an official one as of October 8, 2026. Sony has not announced a PS5 Pro pack with GTA VI. The game page does carry the "PS5 Pro Enhanced" label, and some retailers have sold their own PS5 Pro and GTA 6 packs.
When will Sony announce a GTA 6 console bundle?
Sony has given no date and has not said one is planned. A billbil-kun prediction from October 2025, reported by PlayStation LifeStyle, called a PS5 Pro pack likely, but nothing official followed.
Does the GTA 6 PS5 bundle at EE come from Sony?
No. TechRadar described the EE packs as a retailer deal combining a PS5 Slim or PS5 Pro with a copy of the game. Sony has not announced them as official bundles.
Did GTA 5 have a PS4 bundle?
Yes. Sony confirmed a GTA V PS4 Black Friday pack for North America in November 2014, and earlier announced a GTA V PS3 bundle for September 2013. Those are GTA V facts, not a guide to GTA VI.
