Bully Cheats: How the PS2 Codes Work
Bully Cheats on PS2 are typed on a second controller, the one in port two, while you play. Every code but one also needs L1 held down on that second pad, according to GameFAQs, SuperCheats and GamesRadar.
That second-pad rule is the part people miss. Bully is the 2006 school game from Rockstar Vancouver, published by Rockstar Games and sold in PAL regions as Canis Canem Edit. Wikipedia lists its North American PS2 launch in October 2006. It has no link to GTA VI, and none of its codes tells you anything about how the new game will treat cheats. For what is actually on record there, see our GTA 6 cheats status page.
How to enter Bully codes with a second controller
The GameFAQs code list is blunt about it: enter the codes while playing, using the controller in the second port. SuperCheats uses nearly the same wording. On GamesRadar, each PS2 entry ends with the note that you press the buttons on controller two during game play.
The steps are short:
- Plug a second controller into port two.
- Load a save and get into normal play.
- Pick up controller two, hold L1 and press the sequence.
None of the pages we checked describes an on-screen message when a Bully code works, so we do not promise one. San Andreas did it differently. GTABase says its PS2 codes could be typed at any time during normal gameplay without pausing, and a confirmation message appeared on success.
Bully cheat codes for PS2, checked in two sources
These are codes for Bully on PS2. Each one appears with the same buttons in the same order on GameFAQs and on GamesRadar, and SuperCheats lists the same set. Hold L1 on controller two for every code in this group.
- All weapons: hold L1 and press Up, Up, Up, Up
- Refill ammo to max: hold L1 and press Up, Up
- Infinite ammo toggle: hold L1 and press Up, Down, Up, Down
- Full health: hold L1 and press R2, R2, R2
GameFAQs notes the health code does not cover the bonus health you can earn by kissing. For comparison, the GTABase list for San Andreas on PS2 names no second controller at all.
The money and fighting-move codes for Bully (PS2) follow the same L1 rule:
- Massive money gain: hold L1 and press Triangle, Square, Circle, X
- All gym grapple moves: hold L1 and press Up, Left, Down, Down, Triangle, Square, X, X
- All hobo fighting moves: hold L1 and press Up, Left, Down, Right, Triangle, Square, X, Circle
Both GameFAQs and GamesRadar say the two move unlocks will not show on the stats screen. These sequences belong to Bully alone, and San Andreas had a separate list of its own.
Bully all clothes cheat without holding L1
The clothes code is the exception. On Bully for PS2 you do not hold anything. You press the whole sequence on controller two:
- All clothes: L1, L1, R1, L1, L1, L1, R1, R1
GameFAQs warns that the game slows down after this one until you press another button. GamesRadar gives the same fix: press any button and normal speed returns. The San Andreas codes for PS2 sit in our San Andreas cheats guide, kept apart from this list.
Do Bully cheats work on PS4?
The PS4 release is the PS2 game running as a PS2 Classic. Engadget reported it in March 2016 with 1080p up-rendering, trophies, Share Play and Remote Play, and passed on Sony's caution that some features may not function properly. Wikipedia dates the PlayStation Network release to March 2016 as well.
On codes, the GameFAQs PS4 page carries a user submission. It says to turn on a second controller, sign it in as a guest, and use the same inputs as on PS2. That is one contributor's report. We have not tested it, and we found no Rockstar or Sony statement about cheats in the PS4 release.
We also found no source that says whether Bully codes block trophies on PS4. Do not assume either way. GTA V has a published rule: Rockstar Support says "Saving is allowed when cheat codes are enabled but achievements are temporarily disabled." That is GTA V's behaviour, not Bully's. Our page on whether cheats disable trophies in GTA 6 covers what is known for the new game.
Bully Scholarship Edition and Anniversary Edition codes
Scholarship Edition came to Wii and Xbox 360 in March 2008 and to Windows in October 2008, per Wikipedia. GamesRadar's Xbox 360 page says its codes go in on a second controller anywhere in the game except cutscenes, with LB held in place of L1. We have not cross-checked the Scholarship sequences closely enough to print them here.
Anniversary Edition is an updated Scholarship Edition from War Drum Studios. Wikipedia dates it to December 2016 on Android and iOS. None of the sources we fetched lists cheat codes for it. As far as our checks go, that version's codes are not documented.
Will Bully cheats work in GTA VI?
No. Bully is a different game, and nothing ties its codes to GTA VI. Rockstar has published nothing about cheats in GTA VI, and VI Cheats has verified no GTA VI code. The game is due in November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, per the Rockstar Newswire post of November 2025. If you are hoping for a menu instead of button codes, our GTA 6 cheat menu explainer sets out what is and is not on record.
Do you need two controllers for Bully codes on PS2?
Yes. GameFAQs, SuperCheats and GamesRadar all say the codes go in on the controller in the second port, during play.
Why are my Bully codes not working on PS2?
Check the two conditions every source sets. The input must come from controller two, and L1 must be held for every code except all clothes.
What is Canis Canem Edit?
It is the name Bully was sold under in PAL regions, per Wikipedia. The codes listed here are the same PS2 game.
Are there cheats for Bully Anniversary Edition?
None that we could document. No source we fetched lists codes for the Android and iOS version.
