GTA 6 Cheats PC: Rockstar Has Not Announced a PC Version

Searches for GTA 6 cheats PC assume a PC version of Grand Theft Auto VI exists. Rockstar has not announced one, and it has published nothing about cheats in this game on any platform. The official game page at rockstargames.com/VI, checked September 16, 2026, listed exactly two platforms: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. No third platform appears anywhere on it. There is no storefront listing and no system requirements page.

So the query asks about something that does not exist: how a feature works on hardware the game has never been announced for. Most of the pages ranking for it answer anyway.

Is GTA 6 coming to PC?

Rockstar has not announced it. That sentence is the whole of the verified position. Has not announced is not the same as will not release, and the difference is the rest of this page.

The evidence is an absence, and a consistent one. Take-Two's announcement press release of December 4, 2023 named PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. Its pre-order release of June 24, 2026 named the same two. Rockstar Support's article on platforms, editions and versions, last updated August 18, 2026, answers the platform question with those two and nothing else. Malwarebytes, writing up a GTA VI scam site on September 1, 2026, states it flatly: Rockstar has not announced a PC version.

Almost three years of announcements. PC has never appeared in one.

The date and the platform list are tracked separately in what Rockstar currently lists for the GTA VI release date.

What has Rockstar said about cheats in GTA 6?

Nothing. Not for any platform, announced or otherwise.

Four places were checked on September 16, 2026. The official game page, which has no cheats section. The Newswire's GTA VI posts, which run from Trailer 1 in December 2023 to the Extended Look article of August 27, 2026 and cover trailers, the date, pre-orders and that video. The GTA VI support knowledge base, whose four articles cover platforms and editions, pre-order details, GTA+ redemption and pre-order purchase support. And a site-restricted search of Rockstar Support, which returns the GTA V cheats article and nothing for GTA VI.

The PC question is therefore stacked on a second absence. Even if a PC version were announced tomorrow, Rockstar would still have published no cheat for this game, and no statement that cheats exist in it at all.

Where do the GTA 6 PC cheat code lists come from?

From GTA V, mostly, with the labels filed off.

GTA V on PC has an in-game command console, opened with the tilde key, into which you type a cheat word in capitals and press Enter. PC Gamer's GTA V cheats guide, last updated July 1, 2026, documents that method and the words that go with it. That is a real mechanic in GTA V, a game that shipped in 2013. It carries no information about GTA VI.

Pages ranking for GTA 6 cheats PC take that list, change the number in the heading, and publish. The more careful ones stop short of inventing codes. GTABase's PC cheats page, read September 16, 2026, prints no GTA VI code words at all. It lists effect categories only, and says the official list is not known yet and that what follows are series staples it expects to reappear. The headline promises a full list of GTA VI PC cheat codes. The body says there is no such list.

Our own reference page carries the GTA V sequences with the label attached to every row: the GTA V cheat reference, badged unverified for GTA VI. Same underlying data, different promise. The four status labels we use explain how that badge is applied.

Has Rockstar ruled out a PC version?

Rockstar has never said GTA VI will not come to PC. No statement exists in either direction. The verified fact is the absence of an announcement, which is not the same as a denial, and a page telling you PC has been ruled out is inventing that too.

The timelines quoted for a PC release are extrapolations. They are made by measuring the gap between the console and PC releases of earlier Rockstar games and adding it to November 19, 2026. It is a calculation, not a Rockstar statement. It may turn out close, and it still is not a source.

Why the PC download searches are the dangerous half

The download half of this query is the part with real consequences.

Searches pairing GTA VI with PC and a download land in a scam economy that security vendors have written up repeatedly. Malwarebytes reported on August 24, 2026 on a network of sites impersonating Rockstar Games, surfacing in searches for a GTA VI demo. The Play Now and Official Download prompts deliver an executable of roughly 1.1 MB, far too small to hold a modern game, which harvests browser passwords, cookies and authenticated sessions, and stolen session cookies can bypass two-factor authentication. Engadget covered the same campaign on August 27, 2026, reporting that Rockstar has released no demo and that the leaked material circulating was video and screenshots, not a playable build.

Cybernews reported on August 24, 2026 that a 113GB file passed around as a GTA VI PC ISO was junk data wrapped around malware that tried to disable Windows security software. McAfee's gaming scam roundup of August 12, 2026 lists cheats, mods and trainers as a standing category of bait, pushed through Discord, video descriptions and file-sharing sites.

Nothing of the kind is linked here, and there is nothing on the other end of those files anyway. A PC build of a game with no announced PC version does not exist, so every file claiming to be one is something else.

What would change this page?

Two things would have to happen, in that order.

Rockstar would have to announce a PC version, with a storefront and a date attached. Then it would have to publish something about cheats in GTA VI, which it has never done on any platform. Only after both would a PC cheat entry method be a subject rather than a guess.

Until then the answer stays short. No announced PC version, and nothing published about cheats in this game. The rest is GTA V in a new headline, or something worse.

Common questions

Has Rockstar announced a GTA 6 PC version?

Rockstar has not announced a PC version. As of September 16, 2026 the official game page and the Rockstar Support article on platforms, editions and versions both list PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S only. Rockstar has also never said a PC version will not happen, so nothing has been announced in either direction.

Can I download GTA 6 for PC right now?

No. The game is listed for November 19, 2026 on the two announced consoles, and pre-loading for digital pre-orders opens November 12, 2026 on those platforms. Files circulating as PC builds have been documented as malware by Malwarebytes and Cybernews, including a fake 113GB ISO. None of them are linked here.

Do the GTA 6 PC cheat codes on other sites work?

They cannot be tested, because there is no PC version and the game has not shipped. Some are GTA V's PC console words republished under a GTA VI heading. Others print no codes at all: GTABase's PC cheats page says in its own body text that the official list is not known yet, under a headline promising a full list of GTA VI PC cheat codes. Treat every pre-launch GTA VI code table as fabricated.

GTA 5 on PC had a cheat console. What about GTA 6?

There is no answer to give. Rockstar has announced no PC version of GTA VI, and has published no cheat, no entry method and no platform support note for this game on any platform. The tilde console is a documented GTA V feature on PC, per PC Gamer's guide last updated July 1, 2026, and nothing equivalent has been stated for GTA VI. That is covered in our status note on GTA VI cheat codes.
